Life Through Office Supplies

When people are in need of differing things for the office I am sometimes amazed at the number of things that are invovled: from staples to pencils to box cutter to glue and paper and of course post-it notes.

Of course what I find odd is that trying to get those supplies to the classroom. I have many friends who complain that the classroom has a hard time getting supplies. And it gets worse as the time goes on within the school year. Several friends I have talked to hoard supplies at the start for the end of the year.

Cool Summers

Now that I have some family that is coming I have decided I need to have some patio furniture for people to sit on outside. Of course right now it is really great outside, has been all summer. Of course that leads to the larger question . . .

Is there really global warming? The temp has not gone up at all since 2001.

We have had really cold winters and very cool summers. Emperical data would suggest no global warming. Now we can sit outside and have a great summer.

Help kids Search

When doing a search on the internet using a web directory to get out information to your students. It is nice to be able to have the data in a nice easy to use format.

In this way students will have information all in one place and you can help the searches to be narrowed down. One of the nice things that I do is to have good google searches including site searches to get the correct data. I also hope that this will model how to do good searching.

Questions for BO

I have a simple question for Congress and this health care bill. If the government is going to cover medical procedure what will be covered.

We have already been told by BO that a woman who is in good health though a little older will only be given pain killers and allowed to die rather then be given a life saving procedure and live at least another five years.

Now what will be covered? If medical procedures are covered, will sexual reassignment surgery be covered?

What about breast enlargement surgery?

What about drugs like mesothelioma

If health care is becoming a Right then how can these be denied?

Teaching has Privs

one of the nice thing about being a teacher is the time off. This summer (even though I only get 4 weeks off) I have been working on disc golf like crazy. I mean I am working on it with 30 minutes a day putting and shooting 9 holes a day. It is a workout and with the appetite suppressants I am losing weight which is good.

I am wondering if some people notice the change. I just hope that my passion for disk golf keeps up. In any case i hope that you have a most happy day and great doing what ever you love.

Pass Or Go

Now that I am done the testing I am wanting to take a Florida vacations and scream, Hey! I am going to disnyland! Well World but you know what I mean. After all Disney Land is in California. And you do not want to mix up those oranges.

Still I will miss taking these tests and all the work that goes into them. Of course if I realized at the time, the work would have been nearly nothing. After all I think that most people who have taken college can pass most of these tests. It really scares me about those who do not pass.

Enviroment and Mucking

So it appears that Bill Gates now wants to stop hurricanes. When I saw this I needed to get one of the best eye creams and clear out my eyes. Why do want to mess with things like this?

The bottom line is that do not know, nor can we foresee the consequences that will be applied and visited upon us. Why are not people freaking out about devastation reeked upon the little creatures living around there.

Think about this we are pumping up colder water to the surface of the Gulf of Mexico and other places. What will happen to that warmer water? It will go down lower in the ocean. Do we have any clue what will happen? I submit not.

Arrrgggghhh

Kinda odd watching Pirates again, of course this time it is all three at one time. Of course when I look at the actors I often wonder how many of the best weight loss pill were used by them. I know I am always looking for them.

The movie is really odd, one thing that I find funny, is that boot strap bill eyes do not look dead they really look alive and good. Kinda odd.
