Where doth I go healthy grilling
I like to have the speciality milling

Where doth I find the grinder
Just like I need a minder

where is the mouse
just inside the house

I like twilling
With the finder
Just like a louse


So here is another attempt at my bad poetry. Just the thing that I like to do.

In the Classroom

I am in love with my home theater and I really want to have in the classroom. I would love to show some of my National Geographic items on a nice big screen. I have to confess that I really do not need the speaker system, but while dreaming, I should dream big.

Of course the best way of contacting ETS is to via the toll free number. It takes quite awhile to email ETS and get a good response back.

Even when I had problems online it took forever to get an email response. I finally called and got a quick answer. I mean really quick.

On the Feet

One hard thing about teaching is having any kind of foot condtion like Plantar Fasciitis. I am on my feet with the first class and sit for lunch and am back running again.

I am always up and moving. And my feet do get tired. After all we are usually not given nice places to stand on.

Meeting Family

With all the family things going on, weight loss pills, might be a good thing. After all what better way to get a running start on the new year with losing some weight right before the holidays?

And if you are meeting parents for the first time, this may really be the way to go. Just be careful if you have to travel far.

Do we care about the Constitution

Do we care about the Constitution of the United States anymore?

I am thinking not. I am not a whacked out right wing NRA gun toting bible thumbing conspiracy nut.

Instead I am a centrist Jewish Democrat who teaches social studies.

I just want to know where Obama's Birth Certificate is at.

Why must Obama spend about 1 million dollars defending a lawsuit when 12.50 USD will clear up the problem here and now.

I know the Constitution is going in the toilet I just never imagined it would be from the left.

Do NOt Do it

After reading Yahoo questions for awhile . . . I have come to the conclusion. Teachers need their safety equipment on at all times.

What amazes me is the amount of questions about affairs between teachers and students.

It is wrong.
Do not do it.
At all.

If you feel you must then wait till you are 18 and are in college.

I mean one of the main problems is that the student will always be stuck as student and the teacher as teacher. There is an inheriet problem with levels of power in the relationship.

Oddnes in teaching

When Madonna was popular and all the wearing lingerie out in public was in, I saw a teacher doing that.

What really amazed me was that she got away with it at least, as the story goes, till she had to put a sweat shirt on after lunch.

Of course what would make a teacher wear clothing like that is well . . . beyond me.

Teaching Shop

One nice thing about the PRaxis is that it covers only certain topics. Most shop teachers actually need real world experience. I cannot imagine having a set of air tools in the Praxis room.

Of course many of the guys I know would love to teach shop. Except for the BA degree, methods classes, and student teaching and just about everything else.

One of my former students is doing shop after getting a degree with education. HE already has a gig for next year .
