Decorations

Teachers do celebrate the oddest things. I am being forced to decorate for halloween when I do not clearly celebrate the day. I am rather bummed I do. So I have a giant milliepde in my room. that is kind of cool.

Working Hardly

South Dakota, TN, SC and a few other states have really neet way of gaining extra endorsements. Pass the praxis for the state and you are in. The funny part is that these states have low requirements to pass.

So I have to put down the wine of the month club and study hard. I am currently still working on Math.

I am planning on the Jan test date.

The NEA is really at. of course what is really bad, is how people are manipulated and how union dues are misued for compaign purposes.

The bad news is now Obama wants to make union election open and not private.

So now you can be terriozed even more.

Remember, Remember

the fifth of Novemeber, as that may be on your Praxis test.

Remember on the 041 history test anything is open. You will want all your flash memory spots in your head filled when you test.


The basic problem with 041 test is the amount of info it covers. How are you supposed to have everything in your head? To be honest I am not sure.

CBT Stations

The CBT stations could really benefit from good solid Viewsonic monitors, that are nice on the eyes. I talked with a friend who went to take her test the other day.

She complained about the monmitors and the headache she received from the device.

If you get one of these, make sure you complain about it. As a bad moniter does fullfill the requirements of a standardized test. As the area has changed.

Getting Help.

I am rather frustrated with the praxis tests. Amazing how most of the people would rather look for term life insurance quote then for help.

Help is seldom far away. As close as a local professor. As close as a book. As close as many web sites.

I mean you can even email me here and I can usually answer most questions quickly and with good measure.

Books

One of the great thing about reading a lot and have lots of kids who love to read and homeschooling is that I have lots of bookshelves full of books.

It is amazing, since based on where I work, how nice it is to find a quality book to lend to a student. I can lend a good book on most any subject. I guess that is how much I read.

English

Well I have a good friend who is on his way to on the linear motion track for English Praxis.

Not what I would be wanting to do. When I had the PPST, the only thing that saved me was essay. I had a horrid time one the English/grammer portion. Remember you can write a kick ass essay and overcome a lot of problems.

O where art though o' bodybuilding supplements.
Give me strengh!
Give me bulk!

O where goeth the smallness.
That i ask and bemone
No longer that of what I was
stength and bulk is what i seek
