No more McCain, please

I wonder how some of the backroom Las Vegas hotel deal that McCain received some endorsements from a certain FL governor. I wonder if McCain promised the gov a nice happy job in Washington DC.

I think that McCain should drop out of the race. He is not a conservative and he will not win the general election even if Hill-Bill is running.

Time to vote for third party.

Do well on the test

While staying on top with the Praxis may want the testee to skip sleep with some weight loss pills.

Stay on top of everything including your own health. If you are not in good shape you will not test well. As we all know a high stakes test require the best of everyone. You will tell this to your students . . . so follow your future advice now and do well.

Hardly Finding Help

While studying for a praxis exam the last thing we are looking for is something on term life insurance or other things.

However, I am working on a non-major subject area. I find the whole thing frustrating. I am working on the middle school math and I am finding it tougher then I thought it would be.

Well I hope you have a good day and see you at the testing center.

Time Is not on my side

I always have a hard time with time in class. I can buy some ebel watches and yet time always gets away from me. I seem to always forget to have good wrap up. When I was student teaching I always had a good wrap up.

I know the advantage of a good wrap uup and preview of coming attractions . . . somehow or another I just always miss it. Esp when we are discussing things.

Looking Hard

Outside of the Praxis fun, I am trying to find my house in need of some serious home improvements to the house.

I have been trying to purchase and find the correct furniture. I am not a fan of finding furniture. It seems to expensive and far to complicated. The complication is how to match things and make it look good at all the same time. Not to mention to not spend to much money.

Have a happy day.

SSA and Fleeces

While many of you may be at the start of your carreers. Your parents are not. And most of you have already have a vested intrest in the Social Security Administration.

The government gives a COLA (Cost of Living Adjustment) for all social securiy reps. While I like fleece jackets I do not like when people are fleeced by the government, this includes those on social security.

Somehow or another they were giving one of the smallest raises ever on COLA of under 2%. Now we are told inflation is at 4.1% and many standard items are up over 17%.

Am I missing something?

Third Party Time

I know this is a blog on the Praxis. However, I want to take a moment and talk about third parties. I am really frustrated with the American political system that there is today.

Both parties are like old truck bed liner that need to be replaced by a bright shiny new one. I want to encourage everyone to vote for third party for every office.

I know this seems dangouroues. However if a enough people do it . . . we can make a change together.

A Stepping Stone

The praxis is an odd thing, with all the help that is needed some business performance management software seems like it would be good to have some extra work.

I have to confess that the amount of work that is needed sometimes seems a little over the top. However, the reward is well worth it. The praxis alone is just a stepping stone.

Have a happy day.

Performance Based Pay

O vanities of bathroom vanities! So many students working so hard and teacher working so hard with those who do not work, NCLB seems to be misguided.

One of the problems if pay for performance. While I like bonuses for good work, the problem becomes the teacher can do little to control the situation. If a child is not mot motivated that day, does not feel well, is dumped by a boyfriend or girlfriend, or just has a bad day, the student may not want to work hard. Therefore the teacher numbers go down.

For the most part there are not consequenes for the students.
