Review: Arco Preparation For The Praxis II Exam 2006

The Arco Preparation for Praxis II is an intresting book that looks at many of the Praxis tests overall. The one problem with such a dialuted book is that nothing is covered really well.

Pros:
• Most test have 20 questions or so, you can look at what others are doing.
• Gives good answers for the test questions

Cons:
• There are about 8 pages that are lifted (or put in new format) from th ETS website.
• There are only 20 questions for each test.

Overall: To much money for the information. Scan at the book store.

REVIEW: Offical ETS Guide - Social Studies

This is the official guide for the official guidePRAXIS test from ETS. ETS is the writer of the PRAXIS tests. There is one main weakness of all OFFICIAL study guides . . . the tests are old, no real data is given, and will only give a small idea of what is on the test.

The ETS publication does give a good guide of the content of the test. However, I think you may be better served by looking at other guides that are updated more often then this 2003 edition.

Have a happy guide!

Study for the Praxis...

Working on studying for the Praxis is sometimes a diffcult task. Make sure you spend enough lead time to get ready. Get as many differing study guides as you can. Study guides is what this whole Praxis website is about.

I do not work for any group other then myself and I am just trying to wade through the whole process.

Praxis Test

For those of you who do not know... The PRAXIS TEST is a test that shows wether or not you can be a teacher or not.
