Blogging With Ike

"Men give me some credit for genius. All the genius I have lies in this: When I have a subject in hand, I study it profoundly. Day and night it is before me. I explore it in all its bearings. My mind becomes pervaded with it. Then the effort which I make, the people are pleased to call the fruit of genius. It is the fruit of labor and thought." - Alexander Hamilton

Drill Here! Drill Now! Wrecking the Enviroment

I was talking with a friend by the name of Pashmina.

She is somewhat of a television enviromentalist.

She asks and I answer:

Question: The oil companies will destroy the environment! Answer: Not really, they have learned much from drilling Purdeo Bay, Alaska and there have been no problems.

Question: The area they want to drill is beautiful all the oil equipment will ruin it! The pictures they show you of Alaska is not where they drill, the pictures are from Denali. ANWR is effectively an ice desert. All equipment is designed to be removable. Extreme care is taken with the environment in Purdeo Bay, AK where Sierra Club members are there doing environmental oversight on the drilling.

Have a happy day.

Campaigns

Now that Hil-Bil is out . . . OBama is trying to help out Hil by encouraging supporters by asking them to give her money to help with the debt.

Well so much for sacking your enemy.

Of course Obama will spend more money this cycle then anyone else before him. despite all this money spending on everything from staff to travel insurance, Obama should be smalling MacCain in the polls. Why is he not?

School Prayer

When looking for CAT6 cables I ran across a fun little piece of lack of logic.

Have you seen these words:
"Separation of Church and State"
In the U. S. Constitution?
If you can find these words in the U.S. Constitution you will have accomplished an amazing thing. The words 'separation' and 'church' do not even appear in the U.S. Constitution. Don't believe it? Check in out!

If Congress were to pass a law prohibiting prayer in school, would it violate that part of the first amendment which reads: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…"?

If Congress, whose job is to create law, cannot prohibit prayer in school, how did the Supreme Court do it without violating both the first amendment and the separation of powers?
Activist Judges have stolen our country and our culture.
Let's Take America Back! Impeach Activist Judges!

Missing! Reward*

I am wondering who do you want saying and / or writing the morning prayers? An atheist? After all many teachers are at the best agnostic and many are down right atheists. That does not seem like a good idea. Maybe we need a holy man.
Well our local youth pastor would be glad to come . . . if he is awake. The head pastor is just busy.
The local catholic priest would be happy.
Perhaps a Rabbi will come from the local synagogue.
Well if the Rabbi comes so will the Imam from the local mosque want a shot at screaming out:

God is The Greatest
I bear witness that there is no lord except God
I bear witness that Muhammad is the MEssenger of God
Make haste towards prayer
Make haste towards success
God is greatest
There is no lord except God.

oops the Shi’as would also want some representation if the Sunnis get it.

God is The Greatest
I bear witness that there is no lord except God
I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of God
Make haste towards prayer
Make haste towards success
Make haste towards the best thing
God is greatest
There is no lord except God.

Ok so the Buddhist monk will need to come and lead the kids.

The new age person would want some time for guided meditation.

So as to make sure we do not have any establishment of religion we also need to include equal time with:

Jehovah Witness
Mormons
Church of Satan?
A voodoo priest?

Shall I keep going.

Dodd is still a thief

Well good news . . . those Senator(s) who are in bed with countrywide are setting in a happy provision. Person I think he should take a Cobra golf and play with the Cobra. However, Chris Dodd is making us all criminals (again). All electronic transactions will need to be reported to the government.

You may say this does not apply as I do not spend more then 10K at a time via an electronic tansfer. The problme is that a company you do business with may just send all electronic transactions to the government becasue it is easier.

You will again become a criminal.

One of my favoirte authors

I love to read, to be honest it is my favorite hobby. I am read a set of books that I read in high school. I am so enjoying reading Michael Moorcock again. Of course what bothers me is that there may be a movie done of Elric and company.

have a happy day

The Aftermath

I paid close attention to the hillary campaign and what was said about her. The pictures were a little on the odd side.

I have a feeling that many people will be looking at the aftermath. I have a feeling that many people will be looking at natural acne treatment and other such things.

Many people will want to look good esp. after all those close up shots.

I know I would not want my face spread out like that.

Have a happy day.

Drill Here! Drill Now!

We need to drill for oil now. We need to drill for oil in America.

We are living with a life insurance no exam for our oil policy.

No Drilling Answered:

1. We need to develop altertive sources of fuel and energy for cars.
Answer: I agree! However, we need to have the economy survive for the next 10 to 20 years so that we can make these alterative fuels. Second, not everyone is going to run out and purchase a new 50K car. This will take years to get us off of oil.

Next: I will answwer the question of why not tax oil companies.

Gordon Smith and Gay Marriage

I seldom find someone I agree with on gay marriage.

I know that people wnat to make this confusing. IT is simple.

Federal judges should not step in on state issues. If we open up gay marriage the real problem comes from polygamy. If a person wants to live in such a style of marriage how do you stop it.

Marriage is a religious topic. Not a social issue. Anyone can go to the church and get married. You may not legally be married. Everything is side step-able including inheritance taxes.

Kinda weird looking at Gordon Smith. The democrats are trying to move him to a Sea Pines rentals. I wish him luck in his upcoming election

Kool Aid Boy and McCain

Well it seems that Hil-Bil will want some medical jewelry to keep her afloat.

Now that the race is between McCain and Obama we shall see how they make out in the November race.

Of course the real question is can Obama actually do anything that will matter. I am thinking not. Of course i am advocating a NONE OF THE ABOVE vote. I am not a fan of either candidate.

Well have a most happy day.

Insurance and locks

Now that Obama seems to have the nomination locked up. We now move on to more important items.

I am concerned about the cost of medical care and Insurance. Obama supports some sort of national health care. McCain supports a medical savings account for people.

I personally like the MSA. Anytime a person can be more responsiable for themselves is a good thing.

Well have a happy day
