The Republicans have left the building

For many years I have been a Regan Republican and I still am. This means: small govt, lower taxes, strong military (that stays out of other people's business), a government that stays out of the way of people and allows them to live their lives, and socially conservative.

I love Ron' speech when he campaigned for Au-H2O (Goldwater). He said, I have not left the democrat party of has left me. This I'd how I feel about the republican party today.

I have had enough of liberal conservatism. I am fed up with compassionate conservatism, which is anything but compassionate or conservative.

Washington DC is now wanting to take over more of the markets. Moving from a somewhat free based economic system to a system of limited government takeover.

How much more socialism can we as a country take? I want to grab a speaker mount and blare through the sound system!

I am mad as hell and I am not going to take it anymore!

Privacy

We have a problem in America. People do not care about privacy. There is a new drone going up in Florida. This will spy on you. Florida will not have the same problem.

The government is after you and will do whatever it can to harm you. Remember they want you to have skate shoes for your only mode of transportation.

The government wants you poor, dumb, and know everything about you.

Discrimination

I am surprised at how much discrimination there is out there. Not the type of discrimination that we normally thing of. Where old people are being shoved out. Where blacks and such are denied work.

Today we have a lot more subtle issues that are more along the lines of allowed discrimination.

Examples:
A man is denied to ride the bus because he is too fat. (Discrimination on health issue)
Senior Citzen only parking. (Agism)
Parking for families for pregnant women and small familes. (Family of origin)

While this is more subtle then tall beer pong tables for wheel chaired people it is still there.

The sad part is that we allow it. So why are people shocked when a racist is on his way to the precidency of the United States of America. Obama had a choice of church. Yet he stayed there. The problem is that he would have heard the issues going on. If he did not, he is a fool or just plain stoopid.

Those Tickets

Since I had a day off . . . I thought maybe a movie. However with some discount home theater seating it is cheaper to stay at home. And the popcorn is better.

However, this brings the important item of inflation.

Look at how the wreckless spending of the US Government has gotton out of control. They print more money and now our money is worth less. Of course the other killer is the min. pay.

That alone raises the rates higher.

Take Care Of Yourself

The more and more I look at how the government is so willing to pay for everything from rescuing people in bad parts of the world to stair lifts.

I am getting to be more and more of the opinion that people should take care of themselves. I mean I have no expectations that the government is going to bail me out. Why should they.

This country was founded rugged individualism.

It is time to return.

Gotta Love Apple

You have to love Apple and their ads. Vista is really having some bad problems. Esp in the press which this commercial makes some fun of.

I have been using Leopard since the start. I am so happy with the OS. I am shocked at how good it is. The speed is just amazing at how fast it is.

Vista is like sleeping with a sheet and board. The mac is like acomforter sets with a really nice bed. So much different. Enjoy the commercial.

Government Wants You Poor

After looking at all the perks from your government for being poor . . .

1. Earned Income Credit
2. Money for College
3. Welfare
4. Food Stamps

and a host of other items.

I have come by $10,000. I have invested money. So far I am doing rather well. The bad news is that I would have to pay 35% in capital gains tax.

The government wants you poor.
Seems like would have been better off buyin some car covers.

Having fun with my IPod Touch

I never thought that the iPod Touch would be such a cool device. I liked the iPhone when it came out and thought they needed the iPod Touch but still . . . of all my ipods that I have the Touch is by far my favorite.

I check my stocks in a brief moment.

One of the other cool things is that I can check weather before students go outside. Out of the pocket, slide and touch. Bamm weather shows up. I will offically say it. I love my iPod Touch.

Did You Know

Well today was a fun. I bought and received my iPod Touch. This is even cooler then I thought.

I put up a video on why buy.com rocks and how cool my iPod Touch is. It is really nice being able to check my stocks, weather, mail, and surgf the web while listening to music.

The Landlord

Someone suggested that I watch this video called "The Landlord". I watched the short. I was amazed at the absolute bad taste of the video. WHile there was no Briggs and Riley travel ware in the video, which would have shown some good taste.

The video itself was bad . . . bad . . . bad. Will Ferrell's two year old daughter is sitting there cussing him out. Calling him an asshole, a bitch, and more. Yes she was being fed lines. But, it is so sad that a alleged adult would treat their child like that. Of course every mutt thinks the video is funny. This is not funny.

House Issues.

I have been having a hard time with the new house. One of the big problems we have had is the blinds died. Grrr. Now I am looking at all my options for window coverings, from making my own curtians, to roller shades, to custom made wood blinds.

What amazes me is the cost of these gems. OMG, I maybe making my own.

The Eyes of Hil-Bill

Well I am stunned. I was watching the coverage prior to the OH and TX primaries. What got me was that the Hil-Bill with her mineral makeup and such did not cry.

Every time she needs more votes, well she cries.

Kinda gets old. Let's be real, there is an odd standard for women politicians. If they cry they are weak. If a woman does not cry she is a bitch. Now that is not far, but a reality.

Personally I am sick of her crying on TV prior to a major election. Hopefully that has come to and end.

McCain's Problems

Well Mr. McCain has gone through the process and has been "vetted" to hit the dems favorite word from a few months ago.

McCain is at best a serious nudge and needs way to many travel deals to get from one area to the next. He flips and flops and pisses off the Conservative base of Republicans.

The only good news is that whoever runs will only be a one term president. That is my prediction. I think we are going to have an elongated recession. So I will not be shocked from a one term president.

And McCain is not the person. I am often asked of the three who are left who do i want.

Hate Crimes

I would like to think that I am shocked or even stunned.

However, only confusion comes to me. Perhaps bewilderment.

A young Jewish man is attacked and killed in France. Of course finding out of the six attackers are muslims are well . . . are to find out. Only Haaretz had the story noting that 2 of the 6 were muslims.

Mathieu Roumi age 19 attacked an murdered in a burb of Paris.

Why is this? If this was black man getting killed in the US. The press would be screaming. If the opposite was true. The press would be screaming. Do we hear anything?
