A Team Sport?

I met a kid that was really into golf. All he could talk about was golf and how much he liked it. Weither it was putter or Ogio or driver it did not matter.

Of coruse I have to confess it is better then many other thengs he can do. At least as compared to drugs. Life is really wierd, I was actually surprised that he wanted to go to a school (aka college) that has a serious golf team. Why, I am not sure.

Just a few more days.

I will confess, that I am discouraged with the selction of canidates for president. I would like to take some wipes and wipe the slate clean and start again.

Ron Paul is perhaps my favorite canidate. I like his position on the constituteion and would like to see if we could go back to a constutional non-nation building, non-missle throwing country.

Eliminate the IRS and cut spending. What a concept.

Tripping

Getting ready for a trip I need to have my luggageready to go. I am never fond of trips that require lots of driving. I am always amazed at how much junk is needed to put into the suitcase. There always seems to be more and more junk that get fitted into the books. Of course I always have to have my iPod with my and my computer with me.

The Big Purchase

Well for those who are following along in life . . . we have bought the house and I am so happy about it. Sure there are the few things one has to do when getting a new house. I have lost count of the amount of times we have replaced shower heads to the low flow shower heads.

Then there are the bathroom lights that need to be changed. The kitchen has lights that need to be changed in some CFC spot light type of lights. However, very little needs to be done.

Having Fun With Video

I am entering a contest for memory foam mattress. I have included two commercials that I have made. Okay so my son made one and I made one. I really like his in the fact that it is plain and simple.



I like mine, I call it thumper. I have managed to get enough in there. I used the basic idea from a friend and from my sons video. I am hoping that you will have a good Christmas and a good new year. Since this is Christmas Eve, I shall be running off.

Changing bad socks

While congress seems to like their gold cufflinks and cheese with wine parties. America suffers at the hands of tyranny.

All they want to do is protect business. That is both sides. Democrats are worse then Republicans on protecting business and screwing over the American people.

We need to send a message t o congress and elect only third party people.

America needs a change.

Low Batteries

Recently my car has had some issues. I tried some auto accessories on my car. The problem is that it is cold the alternator does not always work wonders.


This morning it took awhile to warm the car up. Of course I had the DC - AC converter in the cig lighter. That was of course a mistake to leave in but in any case, it took awhile to warm the car and get the battery back to normal.

Watching politics is quite funny. Bill Clinton looks like he is some kind of weird maternity clothes for a guy.

The really odd part is that it seems that Bill really does not care about his wife speaking or becoming president. Every time I see him, he has coffee in his hand.

Why is not on the trail? Could it be wants her to fail? Can Hil-Bil does this on her own?

Can Bill handle sharing the spotlight with his wife. I would submit not.

Altel and the Morons at Elf Gangland Christmas Ad

I am not to sure what the writers of this ad were thinking about. I am pretty sure they were doing shooters at a Vegas hotel. This is perhaps the most appalling commercial I have ever seen.

Alltel should be ashamed of themselves and the gang of elves. I for one will not buy an Alltel phone or service. Nor will I encourage anyone to purchase anything from them.

I would like Alltel to pull this ad that encourages gang behavior.

Again thank you Alltel for the single worst Christmas commercial of all time.

Washington DC and Mortgage

The Mortgage Crisis has hit Washington DC and George Bush is reacting. While many areas of the country such as Wilmington NC real estate is doing ok. Places like CA, OH, FL and other pick states are large electoral states are having problems.

Here is the problem: people who play be the rules are getting punished. We paid higher rates and were safe. People who took a huge risk are being bailed out by the government.

Why should the government bail any of these people. I am sorry and feel bad for these people. However, we are giving entitlements hand over fist. This must stop. I guess George Bush and the Republicans (and the Democrats) have never met an entitlement they did not like.

Wal-Mart Pandering

Wal-Mart is pandering to the Jewish community or at least to those who hate Christmas. Whichever way it goes . . . I am not very happy. The other day blaring over Wal-Mart's fiber optic cables speakers was a Hanukkah song. This was kinda, in a wierd sort of way, ok. There were also Hanukkah gift cards. This I liked so I do not have to buy a general type of gift card that really does not work.

As it turned out I needed an extra driedal. Let's be real, in the middle of nowhere SD the odds of finding a driedal are nigh unto zero.

I went to WM and there was a Hanukkah song playing.
No driedals
No shabbat candles.
no nothing.

If you are going to play Hanukkah music at least have a small tiny section. Just one small section. It is all I ask.

Oprah and Obama

I never realized how many students have been in a addiction treatment program. I have a feeling that at the end of this election cycle . . . we will be needing treatment from Oprah.

She is placing her entertainment weight behind Obama and actively working for him. Personally I am rather stunned. The stats are showing that her weight will not do much and shift enough people away as towards. The key demographic will be women who will not be voting for Hil-Billary.

This election is going to be one wild horse race to the end.

Finding Truth

I know that there are the good old as seen on tv ads that are still running around. I am not sure what is going with the wonderful ole idiot box. However, the ads are getting worse and worse.

I can monitor what my kids do and watch. However, I can't really monitor the commercials. The pop on so fast and then it is over. I like to observe what they see and try to keep some of the trash out.
