Football Time

Now that my favorite team, the California Angels have the division and are on their way to the playoffs, I can pay attention to Tennessee football. The bad news is that the Vols are not in the top 25. I realize of course that they cannot be on the top every year. I would like to see them at ltast in the top 25.

Sunday Afternoon

One of my favorite things to do on a Sunday afternnon is to curl up with some good books and read for hours.

I am always reading something new. Of course people find it odd that I read so much.

Tax that internet

Well we may be getting another nice anniversary gifts from the Congress. Currently the net is not taxed. This was done in 98 to help the all the newbies to the net to get it to grow.

We are faced with a possible 17% in Internet costs. There are two bills. One that will add another 10 years on and one to make it permanent.

How do you want to bet both will fail. And all the idiots will blame the others.

A Look At Business and an Intranet

As many of you may have noticed, I do have a few paid links running around here. Today is my first real paid blogging ad. I am supposed to latch together all kinds of words that make it all look really good.


While I do work in education, we do not have any intranet software to make life easier. OF course I would really like one that provides a 30 Day free trial such as epazz. If you get a free trial, at least you get a chance to see how Collaboration or workflow increases with the integration to backend systems.

When I was student teaching all I heard were complaints of how bad the system was. What I found out was that not teacher (read direct end user) was invovled in picking this total managed hosted solution, the epazz at least offers In-Depth Personalization all the way down to the end-user level.


At least epazz promises to work with the management team all the way through from start to finish. Which is better then the last one I was one. I like this managed soultions personally, if they are implemented well.

Back to the Moon

While the US may be leading in healthcare management software, however, the problem of outer space may be more of a problem.

There is a good chance that China will beat the United States back to the moon. While the POTUS Bush has promised to get the US back to the moon, the people of the United States seem not to care. Though I have to confess that the idea of going to the moon makes me rather indeffernt.

The people of the United States will care when China beats us there again. Then people will be all up in arms.

Congress and Terror

While there is quick and easy osteoarthritis relief from meds. It seems to me the greatest terror threat to the United States is not some overseas Islamic faction.

The greatest threat to America is The United Sates Congress. Congress is currently getting lobbied to provide protection to telcom compnies that have whored themselves out to the CIA, all in the name of terror. Your phone has been tapped and you did not even know it. Now they want congress to cover up this scam.

Of course the democrats will again cover big business.

Canada Making Sense

IT seems that Canadian courts are not on a break in a Wilmington NC real estate and are saying that DRM violates the privacy of the person. This is good.

Of course, when common sense happens it will seldom last for long before it is squashed into tiny bits and humiliate the people who have common sense.

habeas corpus

Congress had a chance to reinstate habeas corpus for all americans. This is a fundmental right to have the charges of crime red against you and challange those charges.

As ususaly the do nothing congress has failed to act.

All I know is there must be some brains down in a vacation home Orlando to not give back the people the fundamental right from a government bent on tyranny against her citizens.

Both Republicans and Democrats are tyrannial and they should be able to help all Americans.

Change

How does congress do what they do? They sit and whine about Iraq. So the dems get into charge and promise change. So what do they deliver? Stuff like animal print bedding for happiness.
So what does congress plan to do? Nothing.

This is why it is time for a third party. Take your votes and vote for the Libertarian candidate.

Before Swine

I am, now, a former republican. I watched both parties speak last night and throw a pearl necklace before swine and each side whine about the other.

Let's be real. Both parties do not care about America and the freedoms that we have enjoyed. In stead of liberty they give us the patriot act. Both sides are guilty and both need to be punished.

It is time for a third party. It is time to have the dems and republicans lose their stanglehold on American Liberties.

Keeping up

I often wonder about the old song of: Hush little baby don't say a word Papa is going to buy you a diamond rings, and if that diamond ring don't shine . . .

It seems that this song has been taken to heart by much of America. Even living in a rural area, there is baby race to get kids as spoiled s possiable as fast as possiable.

Why is this?

Cops and Time

Well one thing I have learned. Cops have to much time on their hands. Recently I was traveling a mostly deserted strip of Minnesota highway and I ran into a cop, I knew he was there as my radar detectors went blaring.

He followed me for over 30 miles. He finally pulled me over for not using my left turn signal. Now, I have to ask the question. Is this a good use of police resources.

I think not.

I am a Libertarian now

I have decided that the costume jewelry of the two major parties is over.

Since I was 18 years old I have been a registered Republican. Yesterday, this era has come to an end. For years, I have been more in line with Libertarian Party.

Since I moved and with the motor voter I have finally registered as a Libertarian.

I will blunt. This was not easy. However, I had to take a stand somewhere.

Speech of Hate

Hate speech is a very odd thing and I do mean odd. Some groups have greater protection the others. As an example Facebook is having an issue with Islam Haters. I hate to point out that Islam is the quite protected group.

Other groups such as Jews and Christians are still fair game. As are apprently old people.

Once Slashdot picked up on the article the people who hate Islam had a colon cleanse performed on them.

Yet, other hate groups remain. There is great hypocraisy within this country.
