"Men give me some credit for genius. All the genius I have lies in this: When I have a subject in hand, I study it profoundly. Day and night it is before me. I explore it in all its bearings. My mind becomes pervaded with it. Then the effort which I make, the people are pleased to call the fruit of genius. It is the fruit of labor and thought." - Alexander Hamilton

Scaricity and Eating

Let us for a minute discuss the economic principal of scarcity. Scarcity is the idea that the more rare an item is . . . the more it will cost to buy that item. As an example, when there is a a scarcity of chest acne that is a good thing. When we have a scarcity of food that is a bad thing. The item depends on it's relative value.

Vegans always like to say how immoral it is to kill an animal. However, the Vegan is doing the same thing but on a larger level. If all animal life is equal then we have by definition the more animals you kill the worse you are.

I can slaughter one cow and feed my family for months. A vegan can go to their garden and eat off a tomato plant for a few days. I am the worse (in their mind) because I have killed an animal.

However, there is a scarcity of food related to the tomato plant. The tomato worm wants that same food. Now what happens when you eat the tomato? The tomato worm goes hungry. Same thing with everything else in your garden. However, the biggy is when it comes to ants.
