"Men give me some credit for genius. All the genius I have lies in this: When I have a subject in hand, I study it profoundly. Day and night it is before me. I explore it in all its bearings. My mind becomes pervaded with it. Then the effort which I make, the people are pleased to call the fruit of genius. It is the fruit of labor and thought." - Alexander Hamilton

Farming Problems

I was talking with a friend who is in farming. He explained all the problems that are facing farmers today. He explained the cattle supplies that are needed and the price of everything.

One of the real problems that he had said, the prices are like that of gas. His costs for feed have skyrocked. Just like gas, last summer gas was $4 a gallon. Now it is $2 a gallon and we are happy. The gas should be around 1.5 or less a gallon. So it is with grain for the animals. Corn was 7 a bushel. Now it is down to 3.5 which sounds good. However, 3.5 a bushel is still record high if we take out the last 14 months.

Have a happy day
