"Men give me some credit for genius. All the genius I have lies in this: When I have a subject in hand, I study it profoundly. Day and night it is before me. I explore it in all its bearings. My mind becomes pervaded with it. Then the effort which I make, the people are pleased to call the fruit of genius. It is the fruit of labor and thought." - Alexander Hamilton

Confusion

I am teaching at a residential treatment facility for teens.

We are teaching students how to be responsible and self-sufficient. We would encourage taking advantage of franchise opportunity or solid work skills. We teach them to be good and responsible. We want them to be able be productive people for the whole world and out communities.

However, the words we are given from the government is to be poor and stupid. All three major candidates are telling use to be less productive, rely more on government. The government we are told is the solution to our problems.

Why are we sending kids mixed signals and confusing them.
