"Men give me some credit for genius. All the genius I have lies in this: When I have a subject in hand, I study it profoundly. Day and night it is before me. I explore it in all its bearings. My mind becomes pervaded with it. Then the effort which I make, the people are pleased to call the fruit of genius. It is the fruit of labor and thought." - Alexander Hamilton

We always get many our thoughts and ideas from TV. We see the executives with high priced contemporary office furniture and then we look at the reality of people like Sam Walton.

Sam Walton had only items that were sold in the stores. He believed in the dream of the common man. Realistic there are so few great stand outs that most of us are common. Am I common to my students? No. To my wife? No. To my kids? No.

Yet we do not want to accept that most of us fall in the 80-20 of the bell curve. Yet we dress alike and think alike.

It is time to break the mold and move on.
