"Men give me some credit for genius. All the genius I have lies in this: When I have a subject in hand, I study it profoundly. Day and night it is before me. I explore it in all its bearings. My mind becomes pervaded with it. Then the effort which I make, the people are pleased to call the fruit of genius. It is the fruit of labor and thought." - Alexander Hamilton

Just reflecting

I find it odd marrying into a family with much differing traditions then my own. As many of you know I grew up an atheist. My wife grew up catholic. While neither of us were that when we married. I still had to get used to Polish Catholic traditions.

Funerals. We always had small funerals. Her family was a huge event. When I say event I mean HUGE.

I never even knew what communion was. Now, I find that i have to buy first communion gifts. I am ot even sure why first communion is important. All I know is that it is important.
