"Men give me some credit for genius. All the genius I have lies in this: When I have a subject in hand, I study it profoundly. Day and night it is before me. I explore it in all its bearings. My mind becomes pervaded with it. Then the effort which I make, the people are pleased to call the fruit of genius. It is the fruit of labor and thought." - Alexander Hamilton

Bad Luck Driving Home

One of the problems with living in a snowbound place is ditching the car. Today on my back in a 50 mile stretch I saw three cars / trucks ditched in the center median.

The first was this large horse trailer as a 5th wheel. The second was some small car. Looked kinda like a Volkswagan Rabbit. The third was this working guy . . . he had a huge truck rack with ladders and everything. I think he even lost a ladder.

Well, I guess that is what we get for living in snow. At least the AM temp is supposed to be above 0 (that is zero)
