Why Should I Vote Republican . . . A letter to Rush

Rush,

You asked the last time I listened why and I sitting out, specifically why Rush Maximums is not with me. I tried to call and call and call.

I do not get to listen to you as often as I used to. I wish I did.

So why are you not with me?
1. Privacy is not of as great a concern for you as it is for me.
2. You are scared of what could happen if waco liberals from San Fran. become third in line. This scares me to. I am not making a threat to anyone, I am only stating my fears.
3. You are scared Bush will be neutered if Demo are elected.
4. You believe that the Republicans can do little wrong.

I have asked a number of my elected representatives to answer my questions. This includes my Senator, my Rep (in MN-01 which is a 'hot race.') and others. I have written to the GOP, House and Senate Majority Leaders and the whips. Silence with one exception. I received a nice letter from a HOR staffer that failed to answer my questions.

I campaigned for Mr. Reagan in 1980 (I was 15). I was serving with pride in Germany in 1984. I helped in local campaigns several times. I am not a Johnny come lately. I have fought, given money and helped the Republicans since I was 15 years old.

I have grave concerns over this administration and what it has and has not accomplished.

I am concerned that privacy is eroding and the government is grabbing what it can when it can. I am not an alarmist screaming the sky is falling. I am not a liberal trying to scare you, I am a conservative Republican.

A. All your emails are being read somewhere by some computer and looking for who knows what in the text.

B. Think skype is safe. Government wants to listen.

C. You have been listened to on the landline phone.

D. My bank account may have been compromised.

E. My ISP is being forced to archive where I have been.

The TSA wants to restrict travel of US citizens.

Rush. I am in tears over the horrid state of the Republican party.

I will still consider voting if I receive a good reason to vote for Republican. I may for the first time ever, vote for non-Republican.

Because I WILL vote.
