Blogging With Ike

"Men give me some credit for genius. All the genius I have lies in this: When I have a subject in hand, I study it profoundly. Day and night it is before me. I explore it in all its bearings. My mind becomes pervaded with it. Then the effort which I make, the people are pleased to call the fruit of genius. It is the fruit of labor and thought." - Alexander Hamilton

A Little Late

Well Comrade Kerry did it. I am shocked, nay stunned.

From CNN:

"I sincerely regret that my words were misinterpreted to wrongly imply anything negative about those in uniform, and I personally apologize to any service member, family member, or American who was offended," he said in a written statement.

I love this stuff. In a written statement, can he not bring himself to say the words?

The best line though is: "I sincerely regret that my words were misinterpreted to wrongly imply." Notice he is not sorry that he said it. He is only sorry that you the unwashed mass misinterpreted what he so clearly said.

Well, I guess we are still living in the Clinton 90s. Personal responsibility is still out.

From Kerry:

"You know, education -- if you make the most of it, you study hard and you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well.

Even CNN is not on his side calling it a "botched joke" and placing it in quotes.

John Kerry please resign. You are embarrassment to yourself, your family, the democrat party, the military, the US Senate and United States of America.
